Mount Korab (Macedonian: Голем Кораб, Golem Korab) is the highest mountain of Albania and the Republic of Macedonia, its peak forming a frontier between the two countries. Mount Korab is also pictured in the coat of arms of the Republic of Macedonia.It is the highest point (peak) in the country - Big Korab which is 2764 meters high above sea level. International climb Korab is held in early September each year on the occasion of September 8, the day of Independence.Because of the unique natural features of the area of Mount entering the borders of Macedonia in 1952 is recognized as part of the National Park "Mavrovo".
The mountain has a number of sub-peaks that are higher than 2000 metres. These include:

- Korab II (unnamed peak) 2,756 m (9,042 ft)
- Korab III (unnamed peak) 2,724 m (8,937 ft)
- Korab Gates (peak) 2,727 m (8,947 ft)
- Small Korab 2,683 m (8,802 ft)
General characteristic of mountain Korab is a wealth of surface waterways - rivers and streams that after leaving the mountain area flow into Radika and Black Drin. They have fast flows alternately through the canyons and valleys, often forming rapids and waterfalls. The largest and best-known rivers are :
Ribnichka River (tributary of the river Radika)
Radomirska River (a tributary of the Black Drin)
Shtirovica (tributary Radika)
Deep Reka (tributary Ribnichka River)
Nice stream (Radika tributary)
Korab waterfall or waterfall Deep River is the highest waterfall in Macedonia, as well as in the Balkans with a height of over 130 meters . Occurs vertical cliff that is a continuation of the steep eastern side top Small Ship. It was formed as a result of the expiration of a huge glacier which deepened the upper basin of the Deep River, cutting the rock his way.
